Our vision for CKH families: to feel a belonging to the centre and participate in their child’s learning through program input and collaboration between families and educators ;
Our vision for CKH educators: to be part of a team that embraces and promotes each individual members strengths and respects and considers each persons opinions, beliefs and values.
My name is Bryony and I am the centre director here at Community Kids Haven Hillside. I have worked in the early childhood industry for over 12 years. I began my career as an 18 year old student and from my first placement I knew this was where my passion was. I began working as a room assistant and worked my way up to room leader, educational leader, assistant Director and then a Centre Director which I have done so for the past 5 years.
My personal philosophy is largely based around relationships. I strongly believe in creating positive and trusting relationships with children, families and educators. I love forming close relationships with families as I believe this plays a major part in ensuring all children develop to their full potential. Being a part of the early childhood of children between the ages of 0-6 years is so critical and I feel very privileged to be a part of their young lives and that is why I love what I do.
I invite you to come and visit our beautiful centre and meet our amazing team of educators.
I look forward to meeting you and your children.
Amazing Centre both my kids have been attending since babies ❤️ awaiting baby number three and she will also be attending.
All staff members are friendly approachable and always open to feedback from parents. The centre director Bryony is amazing and always free for a chat with her friendly smile. The program the educators have set in each room is full of attention to detail. Keeping parents up to date throughout the day also. Thanks for taking care of my kiddies.
Extremely satisfied with this centre and all of the staff. They have always been friendly, open and honest in communication. The staff at Community Kids Haven Hillside show love and care and my son enjoys his time there. Would highly recommend for all parents seeking an educational and safe environment for their children 🙂
Bryony and her team take every effort to look out for my kids. The staff are able to answer how their days were and if there were any issues able to advise how to fix.
The team are reliable and trustworthy. Team answers the phone any time i need to call. I trust my children's care with them wholeheartedly!

Best child care centre we know of. The educators are friendly and look after kids with great care!! Both our kids went to the same care and we will always recommend the centre based on cleanliness, caring and knowledgeable!! Keep up the great work team. Cheers.
Outstanding centre!!! All of my children have been to the centre and I have always felt so comfortable leaving them in the care of the girls. Such a loving homely vibe. Highly recommended. A small centre with a lot of love.
Having worked and supervised a childcare centre myself - I felt sorry for the ladies at Community Kids because I had a hawks eye on every detail and was ready to compare - needless to say I am speechless and beyond amazed. The staff are a joy to be around - and so experienced - they have been around for years so you know the centre is one of integrity! They actually have a love and passion for childcare - which is so rare these days. The relationships & bonds they have formed with my daughters are honest and beautiful - and the way they work with us as a family to assist and benefit my kids has meant the world to us. The centre is ALWAYS spotless and I mean ALWAYS someone cleaning or sanitising or packing up! My children rave on about the food (I’ve had to pinch a few recipes from the chef) The daily journals and weekly/monthly teachings are in depth and so detailed - the photos make us all feel like we haven’t missed a beat. I wish I had started them off here. So glad I found this hidden gem!!! Wish I could rate them 10 stars!!!!
This was the first ever day care I ever dealt with and wish we didn't have to move !
This centre is truly amazing and the staff there are so caring, patient and professional. Cannot rate this centre high enough, the staff are all amazing. Not a moment goes by that I don't miss all the staff and will be coming right back if we ever move back to the West!

Community Kids Haven Hillside is an amazing centre. The educators there are highly trained and extremely professional. The centre director is simply gorgeous. She has a real passion for her centre. You can tell by all the activities the kids participate in. I highly recommend this centre to anyone that is looking to have a safe and educational environment for their child.
Highly recommend this place. Beautiful childcare with amazing staff that not only takes great care of your child but also provide great learning skills and nurtures their inquisitive minds.
Gem & rich xx
Our daughter Ava has just started in the babies room and from day one she has felt welcomed, comfortable and apart of a family. No tears on her first day, she was very happy making new friends, singing songs and learning new skills. It was a very easy transition for us and we feel very comfortable that she is in safe hands. Thank you very much for making this a good experience for us.
My daughter went to this day care from 18months right through to kinder I cannot speak more highly of all the educators and director after hearing so many horror stories from other parents it's so refreshing leaving your children in these girls care and not thinking already my 15month old son loves the girls and will be more than happy to go when his time comes and so will I we love the ladies at community kids haven.
My kids and I love the staff and the centre is run. Always feel welcome and involved the minute you walk in the door. Everything is so clean and well organized, learning program is amazing. Most importantly staff is so loving, caring & trusting. Kids will be very sad when they're at primary school and have to leave them because they love all the staff very much ♡♡♡

We take sun protection very seriously at Community Kids Haven. Overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation causes wrinkles and skin and eye damage, ultimately leading to skin cancer.
UV cannot be seen or felt. It is not like the sun’s light which we see, or the sun’s warmth (infrared radiation) which we feel. Our senses cannot detect UV so it can be damaging without us knowing. There is a huge variation in UV levels across Australia. The UV level is affected by a number of factors including the time of day, time of year, cloud cover, altitude, proximity to the equator, scattering and reflection.
Take away the guesswork of the UV exposure each day by checking out the SunSmart UV widget. The widget shows the sun protection times closest to our centres location, making it easier than ever to be smart about your sun exposure all year.
